Monique's Heart: Countdown

The countdown is on. Day by day.
January 18th we go in for pre-op at 9am.
January 26th we go in for surgery at 8am.

I don't even know what to say or how to tell you how I feel today. I think I just want to sleep. I want to sleep until it is all over and let it all be a dream.

Realize that each person has limitless abilities, but each of us is different in our own way. What you feel you lack in the present may become one of your strengths in the future. May you see your future as one filled with promise and possibility. Learn to view everything as a worthwhile experience. May you find enough inner strength to determine your own worth by yourself, and not be dependent on another's judgment of your accomplishments. May you always feel loved.
